Due to time constraints, I am currently not accepting review requests. 


What to expect:

Please note that all of my reviews will be of my honest opinions. By sending a review request to me, you are acknowledging that if I don't like the book, then my review will reflect that, albeit in a respectful way. When this happens, I appreciate that your response will be gracious and not malicious. If you are not okay with the possibility of a negative or constructive review, I may not be a good match for you. I DO NOT accept compensation to give your book a positive rating. 

I post my review to Goodreads as well as this blog.

I will try to read and review your book in a timely manner, but this is not always possible. My to-read pile is ever growing, and I have a pretty busy life that demands my priority. If this book is an ARC, I will try to publish the review on or around the release date.

Genres I am accepting:

  • Young Adult
  • Contemporary
  • Historical fiction
  • Mystery

Genres I am not accepting: 

  • Horror
  • Erotica
I'm particularly interested in myth and fairytales retelling, magic, and diverse books. I may accept sci-fi, but I'm very picky about this. I'm not interested in zombies and books that contain very graphic scenes of violence.

I reserve the right to turn down a review request for any reason.

Formats I Accept:

  • digital copies (PDF is preferable)

What to Include in Your Review Request:

Please send your inquiries to pavedwithbooks(at)gmail.com, and include the following in your email:
  • Genre and synopsis
  • Goodreads link
  • Any relevant information. If you have a timeline by which you need me to read your book, please let me know as that will greatly influence my decision.
I would very much appreciate a personalised pitch when making arrangements for a review. If you do not take the time to read this review policy, I will not take the time to read your book.
